Many of the images are on display in the Yorkshire Air Museum & Allied Air Forces Memorial at Elvington, 77’s former base. Visit the museum to see the only reconstructed Halifax in the world and be sure to spend time in our own History Room created by members.

Veteran Mike Varley set up the original 77 Squadron website and answered queries for many years. 

Sadly, he died in December 2015. We are profoundly grateful that he created it in the early days of the Internet and kept it going all through the years, into his nineties and even after his eyesight began to go.
